The case is pretty good. It has held up 1 month after I purchased. ThanksAlright, here it goes! As far as the case itself, I have no complaints! There were a few minor scratches in both of the ones I received (not shipping damage as they were very well packaged). They seem to fit well and were easy to snap on. They are soft to the touch as described (I bought the clear, NOT crystal clear) The clear ones I have cover hairline scratches in the alluminum very well and still able to see the apple local clear as day. Now, for the bad. The screen protectors, that I didn’t even realize came with it, were both damaged and had bends in them making them an eye sore once installed and look terrible! They won’t sit flush to the glass causing air bubbles and the bends keep the plastic raised from the glass in those areas. Your eyes ? go right to them every time. I had them pulled off within an hour. Also, the keyboard protectors are junk. They do cover the keyboard, if that’s all your after, they do protect the LCD from heat damage, they do keep liquid out, but they don’t adhere to the surface of the keys well making the letters on the keys very hard to see and they too are an eye sore. Looks like you covered the keys with wax paper. In fact, you might as well if you plan on ordering this for keyboard cover. I trashed both of them along with the screen protectors. It’s a MacBook, not an Acer PC! If you can afford a MacBook, you can afford to buy better protection than these. I have three of them and still have these a shot, so I’m sure I won’t be the only one. Which is the reason for this lengthy review. I feel, however, the actual MacBook cases were a good deal without these other two pieces of junk that they included. I propose they remove these, as they are giving them a bad reputation, and just sell the covers by themselves. I would have felt less annoyed if they were just left out of the box! I would have given them five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for just the case. Thanks for your time. Don’t let this review slow you down buying these unless you actually NEED a screen protector or keyboard cover, because you’ll still need one after buying these! It’s still a good deal in my humble opinion.P.S. there is a good side to the keyboard covers I found so wanted to share. They make great pot/pan holders! So... there’s that!It didn’t fit9 Year old son was gifted an older MBP by his Aunt and Uncle. That was awesome of them.This was a 2012 version and had some ability to upgrade. Along with 16GB of RAM and a 500GB SSD, we decided that it might be prudent to get a cover for it to protect it from the 9 year old.There are a lot of options available and many are expensive.Settled on the IBENZER case basically due to son picking out the color. The price was right, so we took a chance.This is what we found:PROS:- Soft Touch. Feels nice to the touch without the slippery plastic feel- Tight fit. Feels like it will stay in place over time- Value. Some cases are crazy-expensive. At this price, I can have a couple around "just in case"- Bonus: Comes with keyboard cover. This fit nicer than expected and son likes it a lot. Color matched with case as a bonus. I figure we can always remove it if he doesnt like it, but for now, it is not a problem.- Bonus: Comes with a screen cover. We have not used it, so I cannot comment on the quality or fitCONS:- Nothing so far.Additional thoughts. After installing this cover, we bought two more IBENZER cases for my wife's MBP. These replace the broken (very expensive!) brand name case that lasted about a year. At this price, got two in different colors so she could change things up every so often.I love this cover and it fits perfectly, almost! The screen protector however was not good. I had to throw it away. When I peeled the first backing off it left glue residue all over the screen protector that sticks to the computer. Also the keyboard sheet didn’t stay put on the keyboard. It shuffled around a lot while typing. I will still use it though to keep debris from getting between the keys.UPDATE 5/29/20: the keyboard sheet has been staying in place. I didn’t realize I should have received sticky adhesive circles to keep the bottom of the case attach to the bottom of my laptop. Right now the bottom case hangs off the bottom of the laptop when lifted.Update 6/4/20: The seller sent me replacement footpads and a new screen protector and I’m so appreciative. The footpads helps with keeping the bottom of the case connected to my laptop. The replacement screen protector however was a little crinkled and had a lot of large bubbles in it when I took it out the package. I was Able to use it but it took me a long time to smooth out most of the bubbles. I’m adding a picture of the screen protector.Only reason this isn’t a full Five Stars for me is because I spent the lil’ extra to get the crystal clear case and what I got isn’t crystal clear, more opaque. The product fits well and seems to be productive so far, however, I have decals on my laptop and as picky as it is, with this case it’s like they’re in a fog/blurred a bit.
