This card was plug and play. Just unplugged the older gen card, and swapped in with an adapter (required for Mac Pro 1,1 and 2,1). It came nicely packed, and looked really great. Only light wear, which doesn't affect performance. Immediately noticed hand off working! The price was great, also!The best of the bestThis has all the markings of a "test unit" where the MAC addresses are not printed, and does not appear to be an Apple product.Also, it does not function -- the bluetooth portion rapidly connects and disconnects, and the wifi portion refused to stay connected more than a few minutes. Replacing it with another unit work properly, so I will be returning this questionable unit.Screwing board onto adapter popped off glued on plastic grommet? Not metal and cheaply glued/fitted. I would give it ZERO stars if I could.Not as easy to install but with patience. It faces inward to the mother board but attaching the antenna wire is difficult under ANY circumstances. For you Mac Pro users you will need to remove the antenna wire from the original blue tooth 2.0 card and add an extended wire back to the card. A tip I glued an a piece of plastic from an old credit car to the extended wire to the original Bluetooth ant wire which made it easier to snap on. I save old parts and was able to use a connector to get the necessary power to the Wi-Fi card for Bluetooth.Hands off work like a charm
