if you're new to final cut pro, after using the tutorial that comes with the software, this book is a great next step.I have been able to figure out most of the basics with the tutorial and this book. it's well organized and you can find what you're looking for easily.I am, of course, going to take the next step and pay for a real course at MacExpo, but this book got me through the first 8 months of using this program, and I edited 4 wedding videos with this software, sending the files back to iMovie and iDVD (which I already knew how to use)
