This is a wonderful camera. I am very pleased with the quality. I was honestly quite surprised at how great this was.It came wrapped up nicely and safe. The seller had the camera wrapped up with stickers to make sure the item does not get scratched and was placed in a protective baggie inside of a box. Very secure and very well done. The package came with a mini manual and two camera covers which was a cool surprise to have the camera lens closed when not in use.The camera itself is great quality. The picture is clear and the resolution is bright. This is perfect, especially for those having tele-meetings all day. The microphone is great sound quality as well. On a few of my calls, I mentioned that this was a new device I had and wanted to make sure they could hear and see me and everybody had no issues at all. The picture quality is good and honestly feels like there is a filter in place to make my face smooth and perfect (ladies who don't want to wear makeup for those virtual meetings, this has a built in Snapchat filter in it, I swear). IT IS AMAZING. My husband was jealous at how great this is and made me order him one for his computer.The webcam plugs into the computer via a USB and there are no downloads or software needed. Super easy to use.We use zoom for our worship services twice a week and my children have regular zoom parties because of COVID and this camera and mic is A1!! This is our 3rd camera/mic because the quality of the mic's aren't good. We sit at the dining room table and have the computer on the desk for the zoom and when we want to comment this mic works great and everyone on zoom is able to hear us clear. With the other brands we've purchased we literally had to put our faces up to the mic hole on the device so people could hear us. I contemplated just buying a usb mic for us but decided to give this one and try and we don't need to buy a mic!!!! It's also a wide picture view so our entire family sitting at the table can be seen. We are a family of 8 including 2 babies so its nice that our entire table and family is seen in the video. Great buy for sure!!I have used this camera all year long, but finally got a tripod to mount it to so that I can move it around the room easier. I was super disappointed to find out that it will not mount to a standard tripod mount. the threads are not correct. I wish I had known that back in august because I would have returned it and found a different camera. Now I am trying to figure out how to make this one work which is probably going to require spending more money.Disapointed with the audio; it's worse than using my laptop microphone. The video is widescreen if you use 1080P; If the program doesn't capture at this resolution then it will use the middle of the picture so it will be zoomed in more. The picture is good but the colors are enhanced and super bright and look fake; The auto-white balance works good and adjusts within about 1-2 seconds when you change lighting. I find that it brightens the picture too much though, so it is too bright under all conditions, even low light.The good news is the camera does not have a lot of noise in the pixels like so many webcams. And the wide angle is fine without too much distortion. If only the mic was a little better.My camera also seemed to be opened and handled by someone but I kept it anyway.I finally figured out how it works. It is plug and play but took some doing to figure out just what programs it will work with. I have since done a zoom meeting or two and it was really in depth. visually. Sound was good quality as well.We are all doing more Zoom and Google Meets, etc. and my desktop computer has no built-in camera. I'm so happy with this one. The picture quality is nice. The built-in microphone gives clear sound. It has a privacy shield, but we disconnect it when not in use. I wish the base of the camera had a little more heft to it. You need to prop it up a little on your shelf. All in all, a good value for the price.Great product for its price. Been using for Zoom calls, and it really gets the virtual background clear and correct! My only problem is its brightness setting, you can't seem to change it other than by putting a shade or some sort over it to trick it that it's darker. Maybe it's possible and I just don't know how to, but I wish there you could manually set the webcam. Other than that, it's good.This product was good for about 2 months but then started randomly dropping out unless we jiggled the cable. Soon after it stopped working entirely because the internal cable connection completely broke. Needs better strain relief.
