【Note】This eSports keyboard is designed for gaming and to adapt it to the needs of office work as well, we have made it smaller without losing any functionality, previously we used Shift Keys + O, P, K, L and you would get o, p, k, l. Now we have turned it into the symbols normally used in office work " { } . So the letter keys with the multifunctional symbols (O, P, K, L) can only be switched between case via the Caps key.
This keyboard is made up of solid plastic and has some weight to it. It does not come with any adjustable tabs, only some rubber feet. The keycaps are very light plastic and allow the white led to shine through. It comes with red switches that to be honest are in urgent need of some lubrication to stop the scratchiness. It is also important to point out that pulling them out is very, very difficult so be careful not to damage your PCB when doing so.That out of the way, I got this keyboard on special with the intent to use it as a learning how mechanical keyboards work and how to make some very basic modifications to them. It is worth saying that I'm very much a novice when it comes down to mechanical keyboards, but I was able to replace the switches with a low actuation point linear switch type, add some 2mm foam to the bottom of the case and apply a tape mod (adding one or more layers of electrical tape to the bottom of the PCB). The end result was better than I was expecting and it made the original soft and scratchy sounding keyboard into one that is more pronounced and creamy as per my personal taste. That said, this keyboard does have some drawbacks that is important to mention. First and foremost, as some have already mentioned, there are some keys that are preset to specific functions when using the shift key and this means you must use the function key instead (can be very frustrating when you act on reflex and forget that this is not a standard keyboard). Additionally, no matter what I tried I could not get the keyboard to connect to any PC via Bluetooth or wireless with the included dongle. I also experienced a lot of difficulties connecting this keyboard via USB C with any other cable other than the one included due to the size of the port on the back of the keyboard. That said, the keyboard works great, is easy to open (first remove the keycaps covering the screws) for modifications and the cost is pretty good for what you get. It's not ever going to be a high end keyboard, nor was it meant to be, but it works great, sounds great after minor modifications and it is fun to experiment with. So if you're new to mechanical keyboards, feel free to try it out when the price is right for you.
